Usage
- Rinse the dal thoroughly in running water before cooking to remove any dirt or debris.
- Soak the dal for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before cooking to reduce cooking time and make it easier to digest.
- In a pressure cooker or pot, add the soaked dal with 2-3 cups of water, a pinch of salt, and any other desired spices or seasonings.
- Cook the dal on medium heat until it becomes soft and tender, usually for about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally and add more water if needed.
